IOS ISLAND, LOOK INTO THE MIRROR

IOS HAS PROBLEMS..BIG PROBLEMS. THE EMAIL I RECEIVED FROM THIS YOUNG LADY EXPOSES THE UGLINESS OF IOS THAT MUST STOP IF THE ISLAND IS TO PROSPER:

Hi,

I'm writing to you re your post about supporting Ios in the wake of the economic crisis. How can we be expected to support the beautiful island of Ios when there are venues which eject paying customers such as MUSE BAR in Ios, for having a sprained ankle? This is disgraceful, even more so as the owners and musicians used to live in Australia, a country renowned for it's high standard of high customer service.

Being from Australia and being a musician, I seeked out this live music venue based on the fact that the band was from Oz. What a mistake! My sister sprained her ankle on the way to the venue and the owner (and his son - in the band) treated us as very unwelcome visitors, simply for having a sprained ankle and requesting ice for it. As the ice pack leaked on the floor, I mopped up the mess and yet we were treated as unwelcomed visitors for intruding on their venue, despite the fact the venue was EMPTY. I previously had been pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service on the Greek Isles, but this sub standard venue severely let down the Greek tourist industry.

I have never been treated so poorly in my life and am repulsed that any venue with Australian or Greek roots would treat patrons in such a poor manner.
